It has been way too long since I have written a post and so much has happened on the farm. The biggest news for summer is that Saturday Farm Days are officially here! Every Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm we are open to visitors. Come enjoy a burger from the Food Truck, meet the animals, and shop the farm store.

What you can do on a Saturday at Tapestry Acres?
Walk around our 103 acres of pasture, meadow, and woodland. Visit the alpacas, the Highland cows, the Jersey girls, the Kune Kune pigs, and the Nigerian Dwarf goats. Feed most of them by hand. Watch the Freedom Ranger chickens working their way across the alpaca pasture in their tractor. Spot Thelma & Louise doing whatever the dogs feel like doing that day. We have new trails through the woods that you can take a stroll through

If you get hungry the food truck has freshly made Smashburgers, brats from our Kune Kune pigs and goodies & beverages!
If you want a more guided experience, you can also book one of our scheduled experiences during the week. We have the Alpaca Experience (learn about them and take one for a walk), Guided Farm Tours where you get the behind the scenes on the farm, Birthday Party, or a private Farm Shopping Experience. You can book your experience here
Baby goats & Pigs for sale
Speaking of baby goats. We have purebred Nigerian Dwarf babies available right now. They are 3 months old. We also have older goats from 6 months - 1 year old available.

We have Kune Kune pigs for sale also! Ranging from newborn to 1 year we have the pig for you! These guys are small and chill

If you have been thinking about adding a small goat or pig to your homestead, email us at tapestryacres@gmail.com, give us a call at 952-412-0345 or send us a message and we will get you their details and pricing. They are the friendliest little things and they will steal your heart on the way out to your truck.
The farm store
Our shop is stocked for spring. Alpaca socks for warm weather hiking, lace and lightweight alpaca yarns for the spring knitting crowd, fresh batches of soaps, and a wall of fingerless gloves in every color we could get our hands on. If you are heading to Dale Hollow for the weekend, swing by on your way and grab a pair of hiking socks. They are made in the USA, naturally moisture-wicking, and last forever.
Coming up next
We are gearing up for a busy summer. Food Truck Saturdays are on the calendar (check the Events page for other things going on). The RVs are ready for visitors to stay in on the farm and the Glamping tents are almost ready! And we will be adding seasonal events throughout the summer.
Whether you are local or just passing through the Upper Cumberland on the way to Dale Hollow, come spend a Saturday with us. The animals are ready to meet you.
Until next time
Dani
